Overthinking is a happiness killer. You are constantly worrying about stuff that will not happen 90 percent of the time. Nights are spent tossing and turning and a majority of your day is spent thinking about crap that will never happen…
Here are some ways that I alleviate overthinking…
1. Meditation- meditation is a good way to silence the mind and bring you into the now. Your brain is not constantly worrying about tomorrow or about what you did yesterday. Yesterday is gone, tomorrow doesn’t exist, the only moment is now.
2. Eat better. By eating healthier foods, your body has the optimum nutrients that it needs to heal and move forward. You’re not constantly running to the bathroom or you’re not in a food coma from eating too much. Eat the right foods, foods that are green and leafy or plant based. By eating better, you’ll feel better and look better.
3. Let go. Let go of the process. Let fo of how you thought life should go. Let go of the idea that you need to have something accomplished before a certain age. Everyone is on their own journey and there’s no set age or timeline. It is all created by society.
4. Just do it. If you’ve been putting off going to the doctor or getting something done at work, just do it. Be starting you create momentum. Once you get momentum, you start completing stuff and you no longer have to worry.
