Hint: It begins the night before.
1. Plan your day and write down 3 to 5 things that you need to accomplish for that day. Do this the night before so that you’re not thinking about it in the morning. If you’re like me, it takes me a while to wake up so this cuts down on the thinking process. It also cuts down on the time spent thinking about what you need to do.
2. Prepare your meals. Meal planning cuts down time spent preparing food or going out to get food. It also helps you to stick to a caloric set point while saving money.
3. Plan your outfit. This is a huge time saver for me. I usually waste so much time in the morning looking for an outfit which usually makes me late. Take a look at the weather so that you can plan your outfit accordingly. Lay out your clothes the night before and pack your lunch bag.
4. Schedule out your day. This helps to keep you on track. Set a time for your workouts as well as your meal times. If you need to finish three things, set a time by which they need to be completed.
5. Put down the phone. Try to limit your use of social media. This is huge time waster. If you have more than 6 to 8 hours of phone time, you’re wasting time. Be a producer and not a consumer.
6. Wake up earlier. Waking up one hour earlier than your normal time gives you time to workout, meditate or clean which helps to clear your mind. You can gradually ease into day without rushing.
7. Energize yourself. Get a workout in, drink some coffee or take a cold shower. Wake yourself up with some good music followed by a quick run.
8. Affirmations and visualization. Visualize yourself accomplishing your goals. Set the intentions to get stuff done. Everything is created twice, once the mind then in reality.
9. Have an attitude of gratitude. Start everyday with being thankful for all the blessings and all of the lessons. There are no mistakes only lessons. For more on gratitude, click below…
