It is time to clear out your energy closet and let of things that no longer serve you or things that are no longer helping you achieve your goals. It’s time to let go of dead weight, old thought patterns and negative energy and make way room for new, positive energy with endless possibilities.
Here are five things to let go that maybe keeping you back and preventing you from living a better life.
1.) Situations that are no longer meeting your needs or helping you grow. This could be a living condition or job that is no longer contributing to your growth. It could be a messy room or cluttered desk. Sometimes clutter can cause an energy block and can deter any progression. It could be that job you have that is no longer contributing to your growth. Remaining in jobs and situations that you hate creates negative emotions and can cause depression. Make sure that you are doing something that you love and are in an environment where you’re appreciated.
2.) Let go of any relationships that are not contributing to your health, wealth, happiness or growth. If you are not growing together in a relationship, you’re dying. Make sure that you’re in friendship, relationships that are helping you grow and vice versa. We all have something that we’ve learned that we can share with others. Let’s help others while we help ourselves.
3.) Foods that are low vibrational such as fried, processed and highly acidic. Some highly acidic foods are high in sugar, processed meats, red meat, alcohol and dairy foods. Foods that are alkaline are green, leafy veggies, fruits and nuts. High vibrational foods are healthier and make you feel more energetic.
4.) Let go of any limiting beliefs that keep you from progressing. This maybe easier said than done since we need to become aware of them before we can move on. Some of the beliefs that I’ve let go of are that I’m not smart enough or that I can’t learn new things. Meditation and affirmations are good tools to use to help you with reprogramming your brain ultimately letting go of limiting beliefs.
5.) It’s time to let go of negative thought patterns and actions. Humans are creatures of habit and some habits are harder to break than others. Negative thought patterns can keep us stuck in a loop which causes us to live the same day over and over again. Once we are aware of those thought patterns, we can create new ones. To create new thoughts, add variations through out your day. Travel a new way to work, read a book on a topic you don’t know anything about or talk to someone new.
By adding new ‘adventures ‘ to our day, we break these thought patterns and create new thoughts. With new thoughts come new possibilities.
Try letting go of one negative thing this week and replace it with something positive. Use meditation and affirmations to guide you and clear your mind.
This week I’m letting go of low vibrational foods, old thought patterns and clutter. I’m replacing it with fresh fruits and veggies, a good book while continuing my yoga practices.
